This Thanksgiving we went down to Levi's parent's house. It was so much fun to be with everyone. There was 27 people there, most of them children! They completely outnumbered all of the adults. Needless to say it was hectic this weekend, but it was a good hectic! It is always a joy having the entire family together, and to watch all of the little cousin's play with one another. Especially now that Wylie is starting to really learn how to play with other kids. She really enjoyed playing outside with Grandma, PaPa and her cousins.
Dinner was amazing! We all ate a lot of food and a lot of dessert. :-) That night after all of the kids were in bed a bunch of us went out to do a little black friday shopping. We got so much stuff and it was a lot of fun. It ended up being Levi, Maren, Adrie, Nora Ann and I that stuck it out the entire night, but it was all well worth it. We all got everything we wanted and needed to get that night, and then some!
The rest of the weekend was spent just spending time with family. The boys went out shooting clay pigeons and then headed out to get Christmas trees. Family traditions are always so wonderful!
Wylie also got to go on her first four wheeler ride with Daddy this weekend. It was fun to watch her. She never showed a bit of excited expression on her face, but any time Levi would stop driving the four wheeler she would say "AGAIN AGAIN!" "Ready, SET, GO!!" It was really cute to watch her enjoy that time with her daddy, and to try and keep that HUGE helmet on her head. :-)
To round out the weekend we came back up to South Jordan in time for Brandi's second farewell talk. She did such a great job, both last week and this week as well. I can't believe that she is already getting ready to leave, but I am so excited for her to set out on this new chapter of her life. That night we set up our Christmas Tree at my parents house and set up Christmas decorations. Wylie was, and still is in awe of the beautiful start and Christmas Tree, as we all are. I love Christmas! I love the holiday seasons, especially because you have the opportunity to spend so much time with family. It will be a different Christmas this year since both Brandi and Jordan will be off serving on their missions, but it will be equally as wonderful! It was a great weekend and holiday spent with family!
