Trip to Utah

Wylie and Jessica came out to Utah from March 19-June 2nd to spend time with the families! They had a lot of fun, but missed Levi tremendously. This is a picture of Wylie talking on the phone with her Daddy, Levi. She's such an angel, and you can tell that she knows her father's voice:) You can tell that she knows it's her Dad's voice, but she can't figure out where it's coming from!!!

The trip was so much fun, and Wylie did such a great job with all the traveling and extra attention she was getting the whole time. :-)  We stayed at Pa Pa and Nana Palmer's house, and Pa Pa and Grandma Petersen's house while we visited with all the family.  We were able to go to our cousin Austin's wedding, our cousin Carson's baptism, walks around the lake with Nana as well as a hike with Pa Pa, Nana, and Wylie's aunts and uncle. She loved being able to see all of her Grandparents, cousins, and her aunts and uncles.  She slept the entire time on both the flight going to Utah, and the flight coming back to Texas.  I was SO glad and so very proud.  She has grown up so much over the course of our trip.  She is now smiling and talking constantly now. It is fun to watch her play!  She was happy to be back home in her bouncer (which she still loves) and to see Daddy again.  As soon as she saw Daddy she remembered who he was and greeted him with big smiles and laughs.  The two of them stayed up laughing, talking, and playing all night.  She sure loves her Daddy.  I'd have to say she is a Daddy's girl. :-)  It was a fun trip, and it was good to see all of the family we miss.
