Papa came into town a few days earlier than Nana and the girls, so for the 4th we went with him to the Diamondbacks Baseball game. We enjoyed the game, and of course the fireworks afterwards. I think Wylie's favorite part was when they opened up the ceiling to start the firework show. She was so amazed by it opening and being able to see the sky. Of course when the fireworks started both the kids were so captivated by them. I swear after every single one Wylie would say "WOW", and of course because Wylie was saying it Easton would follow up with a "WOW" of his own. It was an exciting, although late, night!
A couple of days later Nana and the girls showed up. We went swimming, played games, went shopping, and of course, to another baseball game. :-) This time it was the Dodgers verse the Diamondbacks. We couldn't miss an opportunity to cheer for the Dodgers.
It was a short visit, but even just this short visit was enjoyable. It is always good to be able to spend time with family, and when you live away from them you learn to cherish every moment.
I made this TUTU and hairpiece for Wylie for the 4th of July! She LOVED spinning around in it!
